Mexican amber, sterling silver, and dendritic opal earrings

Dark finished earrings are each set with 2 stones; the upper stone is a rectangle of golden amber from Mexico, the lower a dagger of dendritic opal in a cream color with gold and black veins. They are set in handmade sterling silver settings which have been textured with a finely hammered pattern and oxidized to black with liver of sulfur and sealed with Renaissance Wax. The ear wires are handmade of 20 gauge sterling silver wire and have also been oxidized. The length of the earrings is 2 3/4 inches and the weight is 5 grams per earring.
