Mohawkite is a rare and unusual copper-based mineral prized for it's unique combination of elements and appearance.  It is named after the Mohawk mine in Michigan, where it was discovered.  It usually consists of copper, nickel, and arsenic and in this case quartz.  Don't worry--it is set in sterling silver with a patterned full backplate and won't be touching your skin directly.
